At Frachelli, we love music, we love Kickstarter projects, and we also love friends. One of our friends is currently running a Kickstarter project to record his debut solo album, so it was a no brainer to share the project with our readers. We’ve thoroughly enjoyed seeing Adam McDonough perform live and are definitely excited for the release of Coast to Coast. He also throws one hell of a BBQ.
It’s not every day a notable new guitar company comes along. Moniker Guitars is based out of Austin Texas and is currently running a Kickstarter campaign to help launch their new line of semi-hollow body electric guitars. Currently you can order customized solid body electric guitars on their website as well as custom pickguards for your existing guitar. If you put your girlfriend’s face on the pickguard, she might not be as upset when you use the rent money to buy one of these sweet sounding (and looking) geeetars.
From the creator of the Jellyfish Tank comes a unique shopping project connecting third-world artisans to shoppers around the globe. Chat Basket is selling handmade goods from fair trade cooperatives in Kenya, Guatemala, Peru and Mexico. Products are on sale at discounted prices ranging from $15 – $80 (including shipping) and include items like an iPad case hand-sewn in fabric made on a foot pedal loom and a coin purse woven in alpaca wool farmed by Quechua women in the Andes Mountains. Furthermore, online shoppers can connect to the artisans in Chat Basket’s chat room allowing customers across the world to meet the makers of these fine crafts and discuss the products. Learn more and contribute to the project on Indiegogo.
We did a write-up on Thanks, Bro when they first launched their beer and beef jerky delivery service in Manhattan. Since then, they’ve gone national and now offer man gifting across the country. Plus, to celebrate their national launch – they’re also currently throwing in a pack of unopened pack of 1990 Topps football cards (with a stick of gum) with their deliveries. So if a guy friend does you a quality favor, thank them with a beef jerky and beer delivery from thanks-bro.com complete with a sandpaper thank you card. We should probably also mention that the SlantShack Jerky they sent us was pretty damn tasty.
27 year-old Israeli born Bar Refaeli is our Crush of the Week and after her controversial Super Bowl ad, we’re sure a lot of other guys across America are thinking of her too. She’s been the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition and there’s no denying that she’s incredibly hot. We’re also extremely jeaslous of that nerdy kid who got to do numerous makeouts with her to film the commercial.

Whether you’re throwing a cocktail party in the near future or trying to outdo last year’s Super Bowl party this Sunday – impress your guests with The Noble Beer Margarita. Our friends from Casa Noble Tequila shared this fun recipe:
2 OZ. Casa Noble Crystal
Your favorite 6.5 OZ bottle of beer
Place ice in glass. Add in tequila and fill with lemonade. Tip beer bottle inside the glass.
Born in Saint Thomas, in the U.S. Virgin Islands, 22 year old Hannah Davis has modeled for the likes of Victoria’s Secret and Ralph Lauren – and her recent role as the “DirecTV Genie Girl” in commercials has gotten our attention and made her our Crush of the Week. Hannah Davis is a gorgeous 5’10″ green-eyed dark blonde and was rumored to be a girlfriend of Derek Jeter (which makes sense). If you have a thing for hot tv commercial chicks, also check out the “T-Mobile Girl” Carly Foulkes.
Django Unchained was a super violent film, but it also featured some serious beauty. Our Crush of the Week Kerry Washington starred as Broomhilda and her looks made the lengths Django went through to save her very believable. Born in the Bronx, 5’4″ Kerry Washington still looks stunning at the age of 35 and we look forward to seeing her in more films.

Unless you’ve been living under a rock lately, you probably already know who Olivia Wilde is. Born in New York City, the 28 year old actress also has dual citizenship in the United States and Ireland (a fun fact that you may not have known). While every inch of this 5’7″ brunette is beautiful, Olivia’s stunning eyes are hard to rival – and that’s why she’s this week’s Friday Fox.
