Even though they are yellow and animated, The Simpsons are one of the best known families in the US. The show has had remarkable success, starting as a segment on the Tracy Ullman Show and then into a half-hour show on Fox in 1989. Twenty-three seasons later it’s America’s longest running sitcom and Homer, Bart, Marge, Lisa & Maggie are still at it. All success stories have a beginning, and if you’re feeling nostalgic, get a copy of the The Simpsons Season 1. The art and voices were a bit crude the first time around – but hey, that’s part of the charm.
While we have the word “tasteful” featured very prominently on our website, we really need to stray from it for a minute. The most juvenile, inappropriate, and immature show of all time is coming back on air – and we simply could not be more excited. This “Shake Weight Promo” for the upcoming season of Beavis and Butt-Head brings out the fourteen year old boy in all of us, and we are very much looking forward to the return of Mike Judge’s legendary animated series on October 27th.
