Trailer | Man of Steel

Released in theaters before The Dark Knight Rises, the teaser trailer for the Zack Snyder’s (300, Watchmen) rendition of Superman, Man of Steel, can now be viewed online. In Man of Steel, Henry Cavill (The Tudors) plays Clark Kent/Superman and supporting cast includes Amy Adams (The Office), Russell Crowe (Gladiator), and Michael Shannon (Boardwalk Empire). While we’re sure Snyder will do a great job with the film, it also doesn’t hurt that it’s produced by Christopher Nolan director of The Dark Knight Trilogy and Inception.

The Dark Knight Rises | New Trailer

This isn’t our first post about the upcoming Batman movie – but Warner Bros. just released a third trailer for The Dark Knight Rises and we simply couldn’t resist sharing it. As we mentioned in our first article, we’re super pumped to see Batman take on Bane in the final installment of Christopher Nolan’s Batman franchise. We’re also not dreading seeing Anne Hathaway in the Catwoman outfit.

The Dark Knight Rises

the dark knight rises

The Dark Knight Rises will be the conclusion to Christopher Nolan‘s Batman series featuring Christian Bale as the caped crusader. Heath Ledger‘s award winning portrayal of The Joker in The Dark Knight will be tough to top and this time Tom Hardy and Anne Hathaway step in to play the bad guys (Bane and Catwoman). Below is the second trailer that’s been released so far – and come summer 2012, it looks like it’s going to be a good one.

The Dark Knight

We’re guessing you’ve seen The Dark Knight, since it was one of the most successful movies ever made (8th highest grossing film ever to be exact).  But have you captured this amazing Batman reprise on Blu-ray? If not, Amazon currently has it on sale for only $9.99. That’s a low price to pay to own Christopher Nolan’s (Batman Begins, Inception) gritty portrayal of The Joker which was flawlessly played by the late Heath Ledger. Oh yeah, and Christian Bale plays a pretty bad-ass Batman and the film also stars Michael Cane, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Aaron Eckhart, and Morgan Freeman. Kind of a no-brainer if you’re even remotely into superhero movies.

Following

Before making wildly successful blockbusters such as The Dark Knight and Inception, director Christoper Nolan made Following – a smart and eerie film about a lonely British man who starts following random people for enjoyment. When one of his random “subjects” turns out to be even creepier than him, he gets more than he bargained for. Clever editing, well-plotted suspense, and bizarrely intelligent dialogue make this movie an indie treat. Also, it’s apparently really hard to find on DVD which is why it’s $37. Potential collectors item?
