We often write about music and albums, so today for Father’s Day I’m featuring my dad’s favorite album, London Calling by The Clash. My pops isn’t alone in loving this album, Rolling Stone ranked London Calling number one in it’s top 100 albums of the 80s and Entertainment Weekly labeled it “The Best Album of All Time.” The Clash released London Calling in 1979 and featured tracks such as Brand New Cadillac, The Guns of Brixton, London Calling, and my personal favorite, Lost in the Supermarket. My dad owns the rock, pop, funk, and ska sounds of London Calling on vinyl, which you may not have the equipment to play it on – but you can easily get this awesome album for yourself or your dad on iTunes. Happy Father’s Day everyone!
