The next generation of the Mercedes-Benz SL class will come will be coming soon, and we already like it. The 2013 SL550 was just announced and the prestigious retractable hardtop roadster will be getting more than just a facelift. A new lightweight aluminum bodyshell lightens the SL and a 4.6-liter biturbo V8 delivers 429 hp and a whopping 516 lb-ft of torque – both of which help the 2013 SL reach 0-60 in 4.5 seconds. Now we’re dying to know what the AMG version will be packing!

2012 Mercedes-Benz SLK
Mercedes recently touted their upcoming 2012 line a Super Bowl commercial and the new SLK is looking good. Starting to appear more like it’s bigger brother, the SL, the 2012 SLK displays bold new styling. A retractble hard top strips down in 20 seconds and the optional AIRSCARF feature will keep you warm when cruising topless. If you want to keep a roof over your head, there is an optional MAGIC SKY CONTROL which consists of a panoramic glass roof panel with adjustable tint. No word yet on the price or how many ponies are in the “advanced” V6 engine.
