We’re guessing you’ve seen The Dark Knight, since it was one of the most successful movies ever made (8th highest grossing film ever to be exact). That’s a low price to pay to own Christopher Nolan’s (Batman Begins, Inception) gritty portrayal of The Joker which was flawlessly played by the late Heath Ledger. Oh yeah, and Christian Bale plays a pretty bad-ass Batman and the film also stars Michael Cane, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Aaron Eckhart, and Morgan Freeman. Kind of a no-brainer if you’re even remotely into superhero movies.

Caine is a two-time Academy Award winner and it really shows in his stellar performance in Harry Brown. After losing his friend to murderous gang that is terrorizing his neighborhood, Harry takes the law in his own hands – despite his age and failing health. Harry Brown tells the “fed-up vigilante” story seen in many films, but few do it with the grit and fervor that Michael Caine provides in the lead role.
