We’re guessing you’ve seen The Dark Knight, since it was one of the most successful movies ever made (8th highest grossing film ever to be exact). But have you captured this amazing Batman reprise on Blu-ray? If not, Amazon currently has it on sale for only $9.99. That’s a low price to pay to own Christopher Nolan’s (Batman Begins, Inception) gritty portrayal of The Joker which was flawlessly played by the late Heath Ledger. Oh yeah, and Christian Bale plays a pretty bad-ass Batman and the film also stars Michael Cane, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Aaron Eckhart, and Morgan Freeman. Kind of a no-brainer if you’re even remotely into superhero movies.

Everyone has different taste in movies, but Crazy Heart is a film that is simply hard to dislike. “The Dude” himself, Jeff Bridges, gives one of his finest performances as Bad Blake – a 4-time divorced, alcoholic, broke country star. Bad has hit rock bottom, but sees hope after falling for a Sante Fe reporter (Maggie Gyllenhaal) and a sudden resurgence in his career – after help from his former protege Tommy Sweet (Colin Farrell). The movie takes no shortcuts, all the music performances are authentic and superb, and Robert Duvall even steps in to play Bad’s favorite bartender. Filled with ups, downs, laughter, and songs inspired by life, Crazy Heart was one of the most soul-filled and well made movies I’ve seen in a while. This gem of a film only had a limited release in the theaters, but you can now enjoy it on Blu-ray and DVD.
