Jeans and sunglasses are regular topics on Frachelli, but the Kickstarter project creating denim sunglasses is certainly new. English startup company Mosevic has created a unique style of shades by merging denim and resin. Available in three frame styles (and additionally three colors of denim), a pair from Mosevic is sure to stand out.
From the maker of the Harvey desk lamp, comes another bright Kickstarter lighting project, Bank. Bank is a modern take on the classic bankers lamp with super efficient Philips LEDs providing 740 lumens of warm white light. Despite making some technological advances over the original banker lamps, it still keeps its charm with the old tried and trusted pull switch.
Designed by two brothers, the HOKU LED Desk Lamp project is currently live on Kickstarter. With its sleek Italian design, the eco-friendly HOKU only uses 5W of energy consumption while providing natural light in your workspace. HOKU is Hawaiian for “star” and this “bright” project is already fully funded, with 12 days left for you to participate.
We got a tip for yet another cool Kickstarter project – The Snake Bite Bottle Opener. This bottle opener stands apart with its forked design that also allows you to “bite” a can of beer, creating vents for smoother pouring and drinking. With all materials domestically sourced and assembled in St. Louis, Missouri, the product is also 100% USA Made. I guess we’re not the only ones that thought it was cool – the project was 100% funded in just 30 hours, and there’s still time for you to participate.
We got a tip for yet another cool Kickstarter project, the Recon 6 Survival Watch by Ralston. Not only does the rugged watch tell time, but it also contains a compass, signal mirror, can opener, fire starter, whistle, cutting tool, fishing line, and flash light. Essentially, it has all the basic survival items stashed around your wrist. It’s also a cool looking watch for when you’re not braving the elements.
Like our recent post on the Qlipter, the Le Taureau is another simple, yet cool Kickstarter project that’ll help you hang your stuff. Made of solid brass this bull shaped hook will last as long as whatever you screw it into – Plus, it will add a little subtle masculine flair and machismo to your bachelor pad decor.
We received a prototype from a current Kickstarter project, The Qlipter. The Qlipter prototype has only been our possession for a few days, but we can already see the nearly endless uses for this ingenious clip. Not only does it work like a standard carabiner, but the padded hook swivels outward, allowing you to hang your stuff virtually anywhere. While it’s great for outdoor activities like hiking and camping, you can also use The Qlipter around the house (we found it great for hanging dress shirts in the bathroom during showers to get a little steam action).
Today we bring you another neat KICKSTARTER project, Brew Cutlery. Brew Cutlery conveniently combines elegant cutlery with a flawless bottle opener so you never have to search for an opener again. It’s a simple idea, but these utensils will cover all your needs for enjoying great food and your favorite bottled beers.
