This is the third bottle-opening related Kickstarter project we’ve posted recently, but eager beer drinking entrepreneurs keep reaching out to us – and they continue to be cool and innovative. The Beer Claw is an ergonomic yet sturdy beer bottle opener made from aircraft-grade aluminum and also is available in additional variations – Beer Claw Mini, Beer Claw Light, Beer Claw Elite (shown above with it’s walnut grip).

We came across another cool Kickstarter project, the Old Familiar Comb Bottle Opener. Pretty simple as invention goes, but it may be the ultimate hipster accessory. Designed by a “beer drinking barber” this stainless steel comb also functions as, you guessed it, a bottle opener. Also check out the JackHawk 9000 Bottle Opening Sunglasses.

Especially when accompanied by Mexican cuisine, sangria is a delicious way to do some drinking. Also great in the warm weather, the only draw back to sangria is it’s a bit of a process to make. Eppa Sangria removes all the fuss with their organic bottled sangria made with Mendocino Cabernet and Syrah, which are blended with pomegranates and blueberries as well as Mediterranean blood oranges, acai berries and natural citrus essences. Plus you don’t have to the tell the chick you’re drinking it with that you didn’t make it yourself. Available online and at Whole Foods Market.
The cooler is a simple, yet extremely important piece of equipment in a man’s life. They keep our booze cold while we drink outside – and is there anything really better than that? While they serve a great purpose, coolers can be a bit of an eyesore as most aren’t too decorative. However, with its oak finish to mimic and old fashioned keg, the Bubba Keg Cooler is as awesome looking as it is functional. It’ll hold up to 75 cans of your favorite brew, has a built-in bottle opener, integrated wine rack, and brass spigot (which you can use for easy drainage, or to pour out 55 quarts of tasty cocktail).

If you’re feeling nostalgic, pour yourself a drink in a copper mug. In the 1950′s, the Moscow Mule became a popular mixed drink and the preferred drinkware was a copper cup. To make a Moscow Mule, simply mix two parts vodka, one part lime juice, and 3 parts Ginger Beer. This 16oz copper Moscow Mule Mug pays homage to the drink and features tin lining and brass accents. Even if the Moscow Mule isn’t up your alley, this copper mug can certainly be used for beer, black coffee, and other manly beverages.

If you’re drinking some hard hooch, what’s more fitting than slamming it down with a “crystal skull” shot glass? Made of handblown glass, this “Doomed” shot glass pays homage to the Skull of Doom, which Mayan legend claims has the power of life and death along with other mystical powers. The skull inside the glass will fill with 2.5 ounces of booze, which with enough use – may lead you to believe you have mystical powers.

When Frachelli first received a bottle of Ron de Jeremy Rum, I was skeptical to say the least. A pornstar themed drink? A little silly. But then some friends and I drank it – and it was delicious. Also, there is the obvious fun novelty of a Ron Jeremy endorsed beverage. The same can be said for the latest varietal, Ron de Jeremy Spiced Rum. When you sip this imported Panamanian rum, its quality is quickly noticeable – plus the spiced version knocks things up to 94 proof for some extra kick. I recently had a gathering where a ton of booze was drank, but one of the only compltely empty bottles was the Ron de Jeremy. There’s also a twitter contest going on now where you can win a trip for 2 to LA to hang with Ron.

Priced around $23 for a 750ml bottle, it’s very reasonable on the wallet too.
