Christopher Walken, Woody Harrelson, and Tom Waits all in the same movie? We’re sold. Add Sam Rockwell and Colin Farrell to the mix, even better. Seven Psychopaths hits theaters on October 12th and looks to be a fun and wild journey that ensues when a gangster’s dog is kidnapped by a bunch of misfits. Also stars Bond girl Olga Kurylenko, which doesn’t hurt. Check out the trailer.

When I was a kid Arnold Schwarzenegger movies were pretty much the coolest thing around. Now one of his classics, the 1990 sci-fi action/thriller Total Recall, has been remade with Colin Farrell reprising his role. The trailer for this version looks cool, but there is still the possibility that it will suck – but then again, how can it be bad if both Kate Beckinsale and Jessica Biel are in it? Hits theaters August 3rd. MmmMMmMm Kate Beckinsaleeeeee….

Everyone has different taste in movies, but Crazy Heart is a film that is simply hard to dislike. “The Dude” himself, Jeff Bridges, gives one of his finest performances as Bad Blake – a 4-time divorced, alcoholic, broke country star. Bad has hit rock bottom, but sees hope after falling for a Sante Fe reporter (Maggie Gyllenhaal) and a sudden resurgence in his career – after help from his former protege Tommy Sweet (Colin Farrell). The movie takes no shortcuts, all the music performances are authentic and superb, and Robert Duvall even steps in to play Bad’s favorite bartender. Filled with ups, downs, laughter, and songs inspired by life, Crazy Heart was one of the most soul-filled and well made movies I’ve seen in a while. This gem of a film only had a limited release in the theaters, but you can now enjoy it on Blu-ray and DVD.
