The BMW 6 series recently got a refresh with the 2012 650i Convertible. Starting at $90,500, this topless twin-turbo V8 puts out 400hp and is one hell of a summer ride. A fine interior with a slew of creature comforts makes this car a luxury vehicle, but the 19″ light-alloy wheels and paddle shifters quickly remind you that it can also perform. A full-color head up display will make you think your piloting an x-wing and night vision will help you avoid running over zombies. Despite the cars large size and sofa like seats, the 450 lb-ft. of torque gets this beauty from 0-60 in 4.8 seconds. While seeing a new 6 series is exciting, we’re real antsy to see what the new M6 will be packing.
