It may seem absurd to spend $55k on a Camaro, but it quickly  gets a lot more logical when you pop open the hood of the 2012 Chevy Camaro ZL1. The 6.2-liter supercharged and intercooled V8 churns out a menacing 580hp and 556 lb-ft of torque. Despite the hefty size of the car, 0-60 is achieved in 4.1 seconds – which is really fast for a car under $60k. The ZL1 didn’t just get a power injection – 20″ forged wheels, performance tires, 14.6″ Brembo Brakes, and magnetic ride technology vastly upgrade the handling and stopping power of this Camaro.
