While many were hoping for the release of an iPhone 5 this fall, it appears that the iPhone 4S will have to satisfy all the Apple fanboys and junkies for now. While it may be disappointing to some expecting a whole new phone – the 4S still has some significant improvements such as an 8MP camera and Apple’s dual-core A5 chip. iOS 5 will bring over 200 new software features including group messaging, enhanced photo options, and Siri – a voice control system you can use to make calls, play music, respond to messages, surf the web, schedule appointments, check the weather and more. Siri even talks back (hmm sounds a bit like HAL). Starting at $199, it’ll be available on Verizon, AT&T, & Sprint on October 14th.
