Last night we attended a launch party for Southern Comfort Fiery Pepper, a new liquor infused with original Tabasco brand pepper sauce. When it hits shelves and bars this fall, it’ll likely be consumed via shots (by young 20’s males beating their chests) but as we learned last night… it also makes for some tasty spicy cocktails and will be at home in a Bloody Mary.

As I did last year, last night I checked out the car show at the World Financial Center in Manhattan. While it was a bit of a downgrade from last year where they had several Ferrari’s and the exclusive Bugatti Veyron, I still got to see some cool cars that are featured on Frachelli.com. On September 13th Maserati announced that they’ll be entering the SUV market with the production of the Kubang. While details will be coming out over the next few months, we do know that the Kubang will feature a new engine designed in Modena by Paolo Martinelli – Head of the Maserati Powertrain Department and for nearly 30 years at Ferrari, where he also served as engine chief of the Formula One racing team – and will be produced in Maranello by Ferrari. Also expect an 8 speed transmission. From scanning Maserati’s website, it also looks like the Kubang will have a picturesque interior that may be unmatched by any other SUV on the market.
