Football season is around the corner and you don’t want to be caught without the latest installment of the ever-popular Madden video game franchise. Madden NFL 12 not only offers enhanced graphics but also includes a new collision system (including over 100 new tackle animations) and upgraded defensive artificial intelligence for a defensive team that “truly works together.” Just released yesterday, Madden NFL 12 is available for PS3, Wii, Xbox 360, PSP, and PS2.
If the roof is what is holding you back from a Ferrari 458 Italia, check out the recently announced 458 Spider. Touted as the first mid-rear engined V8 with a retractable hardtop, the 458 Spider is the best of both worlds – topless cruising in pleasurable weather and no raggedy canvas for when you need some cover. The aluminum roof goes up or down in a remarkable 14 seconds which can be seen in the video below. Even faster is the acceleration of the 458 – with the help of the 562 hp V8 and F1 transmission, 0-62 mph will be reached in 3.4 seconds. Base price for the Italia is around $230k so expect to pay even more the fancy-topped Spider.

As with the collaboration of Panerai and Ferrari, the Breitling for Bentley collection shows how the partnership between fine watchmakers and high-end car manufacturers can produce great results. The collection is made up of 13 models and the Bentley GMT is shown here. This large 49mm automatic chronograph features a finely crafted dial adorned with totalizer rims inspired by Bentley dashboards. Fit for a traveler, the watch also displays 24 cities for quick conversion to time zones around the globe. Just like a Bentley, these watches don’t come cheap – the model shown retails for around $10k.
The Black Keys are a hard hitting rock duo from Ohio that have been blowing up over the last few years. Their garage style blues rock sound is easily recognizable as they clearly stand out in the indie rock scene. Their songs have been featured in shows and movies and we picked Next Girl as this week’s song of the week. The music video promoted their 2010 album Brothers – and the bikini girls and talking dinosaur certainly make it entertaining. Rock out and enjoy.
If you’ve ever skimmed through the Rides section on Frachelli, you’ll quickly gather that we’re huge Porsche fans. When a new 911 is announced it’s almost like a holiday and the press release Porsche put out regarding the 2012 Carrera today certainly did not disappoint. While still keeping it’s iconic shape and physics defying rear-engine layout, the 2012 911 not only received a face-lift but is bigger, faster, stronger – yet lighter and more fuel efficient. The baseline 911 comes with a 350 hp 3.4 liter boxer engine and the Carrera S has been beefed up to a 400 hp 3.8 liter boxer engine. When the PDK transmission and optional sports chrono package, the S will hit 0-60 in 4.1 seconds. Already love it.
Interior also got a nice update
Hmm, also looks good in “Pull Me Over Red”

Frachelli is a place for guys to find cool stuff, but let’s face it, there’s one thing us men like the most – and it’s hot chicks. That’s why Frachelli is extremely proud to introduce our first “Frachelli Girl” Keri Lynn Ford – an L.A. based fitness model. We did a post about Keri a little while back when she was competing for the cover of Fitness Status Magazine, and below is another picture from that awesome photo shoot (we love her in her Frachelli spaghetti top, but figured you fellas would like to see another hot pic!)

It’s been 10 years since Harley introduced the V-Rod and this shiny 10th Anniversary Edition pays homage to the drag-inspired model line. With a Harley Revolution 60° liquid-cooled V-Twin engine and performance tuned suspension, this motorcycle is both powerful and nimble. Made in limited quantities, this special chromed-out V-Rod will sell fast and likely be a collectors item.
It’s always nice to upgrade your headphones from the ones that come with your phone or MP3 player. Over the ear headphones are great, but for the guy on the move a smaller in-ear pair can be a lot more convenient. If you’re looking for a step up that won’t break the bank these Skullycandy Full Metal Jacket ear buds will certainly do the trick. On top of solid sound quality, they are comfortable, very portable, and do a great job of noise cancellation – making them great for commuting and traveling.
We received a cool tip from Jellyfish Art, the creators of the Desktop Jellyfish Tank. Anyone can have some goldfish on their desk, but this super cool 7 gallon desktop tank will house jellyfish and illuminate them with energy efficient LEDs. For $350 you get the entire kit: tank with built-in jellyfish-friendly filtration system (a regular filter would suck them up), gravel, color changing LED with remote, thermometer and more. The $350 also includes a $50 voucher towards three cute and cuddly jellyfish and pack of jellyfish food. At the time of this writing, the Desktop Jellyfish Tank has received over $60k in funding from generous pledges on Kickstarter – a good sign that this thing may catch on…
Rolex is easily the most recognizable of luxury watch brands and the staple for fine timepieces. The dashing Rolex Milgauss was first introduced in 1956 to meet the demands of the scientific community. It’s lightning bolt shaped second hand pays homage to the fact that the watch can withstand up magnetic fields up to 1,000 Guass (hence the name Milgauss which translates to 1,000 Guass in French). This 40mm 904L steel (a super alloy) watch is powered by Rolex automatic movement and the model shown here features a green sapphire crystal face with a green hue around it’s edge. All of which won’t come cheap, the retail price for a Milguass starts over $7k.

We wrote about Radiohead’s most recent album, The King of Limbs, before we even heard it – partly because we love Radiohead and partly because the previous album, In Rainbows, was so damn good that we were dying for the next one. Radiohead has released eight awesome albums since their first in 1993 (Pablo Honey) and In Rainbows may just be our favorite (it’s still a tough call!). Each of the ten songs on the album are great, but if we had to pick the top three they’d be – Bodysnatchers, Nude, and Reckoner. You may disagree and like some of the other tracks better, but the bottom line is… this album is a $10 purchase that all music fans should make.
McLaren and Ferrari have had a long rivalry in the F1 circuit, but that fight has now been brought to the street. The McLaren MP4-12C takes dead aim at the Ferrari 458 Italia and certainly lands some blows. For starters, the chassis of this supercar is based around a single-piece carbon “MonoCell” which essentially looks like a carbon fiber tub. This helps the McLaren maintain it’s lean 3,161 lb curb weight and also provides strength and stability. You’re going to want that stability when you tap into the 592 hp twin-turbo V8 engine – which will get you from 0-60 mph in 3.3 seconds. This car is no joke, top speed for the MP4-12C is around 205 mph and the starting price is $229k.
Especially if you’re having a female guest, it’s always good to have some wine laying around. There are countless ways to store wine in your pad – but having a display that mounts to the wall will show you put in a little thought and effort. Perfect for the kitchen or behind a homemade bar, this gunmetal wine bar rack will hold 6 wine bottles and 8 wine glasses. The top rack adds more storage space which can be used to store more bottles, glasses, or decorations.
