Lawn games always make for a great time, so we’re always excited when we discover more of them. Rollors is a new wooden lawn game and has already been a huge hit. Played by hand rolling small wood disks towards a color-coded goal, Rollors combines the elements of bocce, horseshoes, and bowling into one great outdoor game. Equally as impressive, the creator of the game came up with the concept for the game while serving our country overseas in Iraq and Afghanistan. The set includes 6 “Rollors,” 2 goals, and 2 measuring devices for a retail price of under $30.
We just can’t get enough of the casual shoes from ALDO. Stylish without being too flashy, they look great with jeans or khakis and are suitable for the majority of occasions that don’t require a dress shoe. These Swarey sneakers feature a rubber sole, so they’re fine for walking – and while you’ll be comfortable, you won’t have the “guy-who-showed-up-to-the-party-in-his-basketball- shoes” look going on. Perfect for summer – they are a sleek, comfortable, and affordable pair of shoes.
Loads of homes have doormats that say “welcome” on them, and as a result many people refer to doormats simply as welcome mats. That’s why it’s particularly cheeky to have a doormat that says “Go Away” on it. Any visitor with a sense of humor will get a laugh out of it – and it’s always nice to start a visit with a chuckle. More subtle and clever than a “beware of the owner, not the dog” sign, the Go Away Doormat makes for a great entrance. And who knows, it might even ward off a Jehovah’s Witness or two.
The sensibility of cloud storage is making it more and more popular these days. This fall, Apple will be releasing it’s own cloud service, iCloud, which allow you to store all of your photos, apps, contacts, documents and etc in one central online location and automatically pushes the data to all of your devices. That means, buy a song on your iPhone and it automatically will appear on your iPad, Laptop, PC, and etc. Another great perk is that it will come free with the release of iOS 5.
Tiger blood may help you to get in the tabloids and lose your TV show, but Tiger Beer will reward your taste buds with it’s world-acclaimed suds. First brewed in Singapore in 1932, this Lager is now distributed in 60 countries worldwide. It first premiered in the US in 2006, and if you haven’t had one in the last five years, definitely give it a try. It’s crisp and refreshing taste is a result of being a truly global beer – made from European and Australian malt, American and European hops, and Dutch yeast. Tiger Beer has won over 40 international awards and after a few sips…. you’ll see why.
If you were wondering what happens when a C-class Benz takes steroids, take a look at the 2012 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Black Series. The fourth Mercedes to tout the “Black Series” label since 2006, this 6.3 liter 517 hp V8 C63 Coupe has noticeably taken some injections that the standard C63 has not. Wider front and rear axles are shrouded by aerodynamic splitters and diffusers, giving this Benz an intimidating grin – and many of it’s high-end components are borrowed from the gull-winged SLS AMG. So what does all that add up to? A C-class coupe that does 0-62 mph in 4.2 seconds and costs 115k Euros (approx $165k) – which we should mention is about $130k more than the starting price for a C-class.
We’re guessing you’ve seen The Dark Knight, since it was one of the most successful movies ever made (8th highest grossing film ever to be exact). But have you captured this amazing Batman reprise on Blu-ray? If not, Amazon currently has it on sale for only $9.99. That’s a low price to pay to own Christopher Nolan’s (Batman Begins, Inception) gritty portrayal of The Joker which was flawlessly played by the late Heath Ledger. Oh yeah, and Christian Bale plays a pretty bad-ass Batman and the film also stars Michael Cane, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Aaron Eckhart, and Morgan Freeman. Kind of a no-brainer if you’re even remotely into superhero movies.

This Cartier Men’s Ballon Blue Watch is both luxurious and elegant, making it very likely to impress. It’s automatic movement lives in a 42mm stainless steel case with a sapphire crystal face. The bracelet is also stainless steel and other features include a “roman numeral silvered opaline dial with guilloché detailing,” date display, and sword-shaped blued steel hands. Just be careful – if you’re lady-friend sees you wearing a Cartier watch, she may ask you to take her there for some shopping as well (and that could get expensive).
It’s amazing how something as simple as a Frisbee can be so fun (especially for dogs). If Ultimate Frisbee sounds too much like the hippie olympics to you, give Frisbee Golf a try. It’s the same concept as regular golf, except you need to get a Frisbee into the chained goal, rather than a ball in a hole. Best of all, there’s no heavy bag of clubs to schlep around – so you never have to put your beer down! This galvanized steel goal comes with three discs (Frisbees): a “putter,” approach, and long range disc.
Last year, Esquire Magazine named Minka Kelly the sexiest woman alive. If you missed their November issue, not to worry – you can still own a piece of their amazing photo shoot they did with her. This 24″ x 36″ Minka Kelly poster from one of the lingerie shots they featured in the magazine is absolutely stunning. Just try not to get too much drool on it before you hang it up.
Since it’s summer, we figured we’d go with a song that’s upbeat, lighthearted, and fun. Time to Pretend by the Brooklyn based psychedelic rockers known as MGMT definitely fit the bill. It’s from their 2008 album Oracular Spectacular and we’ve also reviewed their more recent album Congratulations. Check out this trippy music video (that’s received over 20 million views) and enjoy the tune!
